Yes, you will be able to register even though you have not declared a major. Every incoming freshman is required to complete the General Education Program, which consists of 36 semester hours. Some majors require specific courses out of the General Education Program. On the other hand there are courses that are required of every major, like ENC 1101 and ENC 1102 (English I and English II).

Yes, there are classes you can take even if you don't have a major. Most students are not completely undecided, when selecting courses from the General Education Program you would take into consideration the requirements for those majors that you may be considering and find common courses. Some majors have no preference on certain areas of the General Education Program, others prefer certain courses. When selecting courses for two or more majors pick the courses that are preferred if the other major has no preference.

UCF has an Undeclared Policy: Students are expected to officially declare a major prior to earning 45 credit hours (including AP/IB/DE/CLEP).
