What is the 2008 Welcome Expo?
The 2008 Welcome expo is an annual campus event that is hosted by the Office of First Year Advising and Exploration. The expo will take place on August 28, 2008 from 10AM ro 2PM in the Student Union, Pegasus Ballroom. The Welcome Expo serves to showcase UCF clubs, organizations, and departments, as well as local area businesses.
How can my business participate in the Welcome Expo?
Businesses can reserve a table at the Welcome Expo. A table reservation will allow you to showcase your business on the UCF campus and pass out promotional materials like coupons, flyers, or giveaways.
How will my business benefit from participating in the Welcome Expo?
The Welcome Expo draws a large crowd of UCF students- almost 3000 students attended the 2007 expo. In addition, this event draws a large number of freshmen who are new to the UCF and Central Florida area. Since the Welcome Expo is held during the first week of fall classes, many of these students have been in the area for less than a week and are still discovering the places where they would like to eat, shop, etc. Your participation in the Welcome Expo will provide exposure to your business to this group of students as well as returning students, faculty and staff.
How can I register my business for the 2008 Welcome Expo?
Please click on the Vendor Registration Form link. The registration form includes pricing information and registration deadlines. Once completed, the registration form should be mailed or faxed to our office. Reservations for a table will be accepted on a space available basis.
